About Willow and Brown

In 2007, we moved to Livingston Manor from our apartment in New York City. It was so beautiful in the mountains that we decided to stay and open a store that incorporated a few of our passions... cooking and kitchenware, decor and design items, fashion, and modern living. The result is an eclectic collection of high-quality, affordable items we hope you'll enjoy.

Livingston Manor is a great little village on the Willowemoc Creek in Sullivan County, NY. The "Willow" in our name is a reference to the creek - a famous fishing stream well known in the fly fishing community. The "Brown" in our name is for Carolin Brown, our store's co-owner and buyer. 

We're very happy to be a part of this community and now, by offering our collection online, we hope you can feel like a part of our community too.

Whenever possible, we try to choose products that are made in the area, the state of New York, and the United States at large. While we undestand that the price of carrying these items is sometimes higher, we know that the quality will always be superior and you can be proud of the fact that you've helped keep, make or save a job right here in America. So be sure to check our "American Made" and "Catskills Made" sections.
